Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern all transactions carried out on the retropieces-26.fr website. They set out the rights and obligations of the parties in relation to the online sale of car parts.

3. Products and availability

The products offered for sale are new and/or second-hand car parts, details of which, including their technical specifications, are provided on the website.

  • Availability: Stock levels are updated regularly, but if an item is out of stock after an order has been placed, the customer will be notified and may request a refund or an exchange.

4. Order

  • Any order placed on retropieces-26.fr implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  • The customer must check the information provided before confirming their order.
  • An order confirmation will be sent by email once the order has been confirmed.

5. Prices and payment

  • The prices shown are in euros (€) and include VAT.
  • Delivery charges are shown before the order is confirmed.
  • Accepted payment methods: Bank card, PayPal.
  • The order is dispatched once payment has been confirmed.

6. Delivery

  • Delivery to mainland France and certain EU countries.
  • Average delivery time: 1 to 6 working days depending on the delivery method chosen.
  • The seller cannot be held liable for delays caused by carriers.

7. Right of withdrawal

  • In accordance with current legislation, the customer has %%0% after receipt to return a product.
  • The product must be returned new, unused and in its original packaging.
  • Return postage costs are payable by the customer, unless the error lies with the seller.
  • The refund will be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned item.

8. Warranty and after-sales service

  • The products are covered by a statutory guarantee of 2 years against lack of conformity.
  • Some parts may be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty (details are given on the product page).
  • In the event of a faulty product, the customer must contact customer services and provide photographs of the fault.

9. Liability

The seller cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from faulty installation, incorrect use of the parts or incompatibility with the customer’s vehicle.

10. Personal data

  • The information collected is used solely for the purpose of processing orders.
  • They will not be neither sold nor shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
  • Customers may request that their data be amended or deleted by contacting customer services.

11. Disputes and applicable law

  • In the event of a dispute, every effort will be made to reach an amicable resolution.
  • In the absence of an agreement, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  • These Terms and Conditions are subject to French law.
